There was a pretty important birthday.
A few swap blocks.
A sewing class at BonBon.
And this little problem. Roeland Park is doing a much needed storm drainage project and in the process my old ass pipes burst from the water being turned on and off. They did burst under the kitchen sink,not at the faucet, but in order to fix them the plumbers (who were awesome and affordable) had to break my tile backsplash. We found my old pipes encased in concrete...yes, concrete. So now I have this little problem. How do I insulate these new pipes so they will survive a Kansas winter? Concrete seems messy. I was thinking great stuff, that spray on foam? Any ideas? And please don't tell me to just redo the cabinets and countertops. The only thing that my smaller than small kitchen has going for it is that it has it's original charm.
